Humans and their technological creations are poised to embark on what is sure to be a deeply commingled transformative path. On that path, we are set to move from body and mind alteration, all the way to the unlimited existence beyond our physical selves. Ultimately, humans are creating the act of progress from a unique position of choosing its trajectory, defining what we want to become and together remaking our species into a new one - Humans 2.0.
Inspired by latest scientific breakthroughs and leading futurist projections HUMANS 2.0 imagines a future in which we already solved the scientific problems we are yet to solve and developed the technologies now only theoretically possible. Focused on the individual body and mind, elements extracted from a larger vision of the future invite you to explore how this latest era of advance will benefit the individual person.
The exhibition is divided into four sections, each further away in time than the previous, providing uninterrupted narrative flow along a rudimentary timeline into the future as it relates to the individual person and to humanity as a whole. Advance is envisioned to happen in four key stages titled BETA BODY, BETA MIND, META BODY, and META MIND.
The first segment of Humans 2.0 sheds light on the turbulent new era of body modifications, re-imagining current technologies and envisioning the next steps towards the third wave of technological innovations. Beta Body examines the capacities of nanotechnology, genetic modifications and bionics that transforms the human body into powerful new being with endless physical possibilities.
By analysing current and upcoming trends in a variety of fields such as digital technology, cybernetics, bioengineering and nanomedicine, Beta Body explores the trajectories in the human “hardware” updating, and introduces the closest and most anticipated step towards the Human 2.0.
Second segment of Humans 2.0 leaps into the field of mind alteration, moving from hardware to software and wetware and into the area of neurotechnology. Stepping from the body-machine convergence, Beta Mind explores advanced catalysts of a bio-info-mechanical symbiosis. Imagining the unimaginable, Beta Mind posies a reality where it would be possible to perform cross-consciousness transfers of information, interconnect different minds, or experience infinite memory.
Unfolding the possibilities of how machines will trigger new ways of thinking and imagining, the second segment of Humans 2.0 encourages deeper exploration and creation of the future paths of our species.
Meta Body segment sets to explore the world in which we choose where our consciousness will reside, switching from one body to another, or building an anthropomorphic, or any other, artificial or organic vessel to live in. Going one step further, the third segment of Humans 2.0 imagines the reality in which we are completely disregarding carbon-based human bodies and temporarily or permanently upload our minds to a supercomputer, into a revolutionary new Reality 2.0.
Contemplating the future of humanity in which our mind continues to live in another form, Meta Body intrigues our imagination on how are we going to live, think, create and interact in our brand new, unlimited World.
The final section of the roadway leading towards Humans 2.0 begins in our existence in an altered, digital reality, and continues into the ultimate merging of humans and technology.

Autonomous First Responder is a demonstration of the future of body augmentation technologies. The showcase of multiple forms of human enhancements is embodied in the form of AI powered surgical unit that arrives directly to the patient, is packed with innovative technology and pre loaded with latest medical treatments, fully capable to provide expansive care on the spot.
Concept is based on meticulous research in the field of the future of medicine, while the exhibit itself is produced by combining holographic projections, animation, robotic engineering & realistic human animatronic.
Interaction is enabled via custom made application that allows the user to gain in-depth knowledge about the showcased process of repairing injuries and enhancing physical abilities as well as about future technologies, including 3D bio-printing, bio-robotics, nanotechnology, pharmaceutics, automation, and AI.
Genome Decoder focuses on possibilities of genetic engineering through altering human DNA to our liking. The device offers the possibility of eradicating hereditary disorders via informative simulation for the user and by suggesting the treatment that can later be carried out at a medical facility.
The concept is based on research in the field of genetic engineering and it’s future potentials. The exhibit is designed as the self standing station composed of transparent screen and inner mechanics controlling the user interaction process.
Interaction via custom made application simulates the process of reading and editing user’s DNA, offering deeper insight into the procedure of gene editing.
Self-service Clinic is a take on the future of nanotechnology, represented via station enabling personified health analysis and augmentation recommendation based on the individual needs. With numerous options for restorative and enhancing treatments, ranging from gaining protection from harmful UV rays to increasing muscle mass to temporarily boosting concentration and focus, Self-service clinic illustrates the future of everyday medicine.
Exhibit is based on the research in the field of pharmaceutics, nanotechnology and future usage of nano robots in the field of restorative medicine and human augmentation. The concept of future self-service clinic is realized by combining high tech equipment with animation, robotic engineering and motion tracking technologies.
Interaction via custom made application enables the user to go through simulation of health analysys, augmentation choice, application, and results, familiarizing closer with the possibilities of instant human enhancements.
Essential Organs Lab depicts the future regenerative medicine and organ growth technologies, on the example of human hearts. By implementing 3D bioprinting, stem cell engineering and advanced mechanical manufacturing methods, the exhibit showcases transplantable organs that are uniquely suitable to each person guaranteeing full compatibility and lasting functionality.
Based on a research in the fields of bioengineering, biorobotics, genetic engineering and nanotechnology, the exhibit is produced by combining 3D printing, practical effects, realistic sculpting and mechanical engineering.
Interaction serves to give the in depth info on the integrated technologies and is triggered via pulse reading sensor which translates user’s pulse rate to the heart beat motion.
Mind Augmentation Lab investigates the human brain and explores the future of mind alteration. Marking the different brain zones and complexity of billions of neurons, the installation digs deeper into the possibilities of augmenting and enhancing innate brain abilities and challenges the limitations of mind.
Resulting concept is based on thorough research in the fields of neuroscience, bioengineering, neural prosthetics and neural interface, while the installation is produced by combining holographic projections with dynamic scenographic elements.
Interaction via custom made application allows the user to slide through different , physical and digital, brain zones and learn about specific augmentations and enhancements related to designated ability.
Mind Enhancement Analyst explores individual mind abilities and its potential for enhancement and augmentation. The exhibit performs a simulation of brain scanning and analysis of individual capacity for augmentation. Analysis results offer tailored recommendations of which brain areas to augment in order to gain maximally beneficial results.
Resulting concept is based on thorough research in the fields of neuroscience and bioengineering, materialized by integration of 3D volumetric display and advanced mechanic.
Custom-made application enables the user to run the simulation of enhancement of their own mental abilities.
Self-standing exhibit illustrating the future of genetically engineered bio organisms designed to balance neurochemistry of the human mind. Easily implantable, these tiny organisms live in a symbiotic union with brain neural structure and amplify its abilities by regulating the release of chemicals and providing a healthy balance.
Neuro Supplements concept is based on a research and advances made in the fields of genetic and bio engineering, materialized in the form of 3D printed and sculpted, custom made objects.
Mind Transfer Gateway embodies the principles of brain mapping technologies with the purpose of transferring human mind to and artificial vessel. The showcase of future mind mapping tech is illustrated via case study of a space engineer transfering to a robotic body specially equipped to handle time consuming travel as well as the dangers of unearthly environments of remote planets.
The concept of approach is based on a research and scientific achievements in the fields of brain mapping and mind transfer, such as The Connectome Project. The concept is materialized by combining holographic projections, practical effects and scenographic elements, including full scale realistic human animatronic and 3D printed robotic body.

Remote Mind Transfer Gateway illustrates the concept of remote presence by simulation of neural linkage to a Mars training station. Host Models Gen 4 serves as a showcase of future avatars a human consciousness can be transferred into. Displayed avatars cover the three main types of host bodies, including virtual, mechanical & biosynthetic type.
Based on a research in the field of future technologies enabling brain mapping and mind transfer, the exhibits are produced by using holographic display tech, real life human sculpture and 3D printed, custom-designed mechanical body.
Project Heritage envisions the future history of mind transfers on a global level. It represents a centralized data bank of recorded mind transfers all over the world.
Custom-made app allows the user to slide through the data base of mind transfer, browsing them through timeline and locating them geographically.

Based on a fact that we are steadily approaching the times where artificial intelligence, automation and neural linking between humans and digital environments will become a defining trend of an era and a global paradigm shift, the two showstopper installations for the World Government summit 2018 developed and presented a roadmap of the Future History of the World with the focus on evolution and divergence of artificial intelligence from 2010 to 2050.
The foundations for the concept are two experiential interactive installations that provide users with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the future of AI, interact with Hybrid Intelligence of 2050, and comparatively analyze levels of artificial intelligence cognitive capabilities.
From A to H is a comparative simulation of Ai development since the very inception of the idea of a mechanical brain in the early 1950’s, to the crucial stage of its evolution that took place in 2050 with the creation of Hybrid intelligence.
It is designed to provide the user with the extraordinary system of back-to-back comparison of critical advancements and breakthroughs in the artificial intelligence development.
The users are inspired to explore various levels of Ai’s computational power and test against human level cognitive capabilities. Using custom designed input device and interaction mechanics based on the mix of transparent displays, circular screens, robotic arms’ movement and magnetic levitation, users can experience instant machine intelligence responses to their preselected inputs.
The resulting experience draws direct parallels between early efforts in solving complex issues through direct facilitating of artificial intelligence resources and above human reasoning capacities of super- intelligence. It provides the users with a possibility to establish a direct link towards the advancements in the field of artificial intelligence and engage in the ever so challenging dialogue on Ai induced changes to the global affairs.
H.I.B.A. personifies the future of Hybrid intelligence and ways the future of human-computer interaction will advance.
H.I.B.A. envisions the future of synergy between humans and super-intelligence. It’s a future founded on bilateral guidance, partnership, and thriving dependance, fostering outstanding breakthroughs in both human and technological capabilities to prosper and to further perfect the society.
It is presented as a unique and sophisticated interplay of large-scale kinetic and digital displays, assembled together in the largest kinetic screen ever made. The displays are overlaid with underlying contextual visual content supporting additional clarification and explication of the overall concept, while the interaction is based on computational analysis of user’s physical presence and his or her facial features transposed to a monumental kinetic screen.
The conceptual overlayed video demonstrates how with the help of Hi, humankind will be able to thrive relieved of critical bottlenecks in both physical and psychological development. On the other hand, Hi the best of mankind will guide and supervise Hi self-improvement so that it provides enhancements to the benefit of the people.

As part of the World Government Summit 2017, Galerija 12 conceptualized and produces interactive installations for the exhibition space exploring the future of science, technology, and innovation.
The installations tackled the UAE plan to colonize Mars by 2117, using a unique 360 VR experience on one side, and explored the future innovative approaches relevant to city development on the other. The concepts were represented via Mars 2117 and Future Dubai Installations.
The Mars Human Transportation Vehicle (HTV) 360 VR experience brought the vision of the UAE’s Mars Colony to the visitors of the World Government Summit in a hyper-realistic way.
The concept consists of physical and virtual reality segments designed to be strategically complementing and delivering a state-of-the-art experience indistinguishable from reality.
The experience combines VR helmets, motion tracking cameras, a tablet-like device, and an augmented smartwatch that is designed to reflect the futuristic MARS HTV. The combination of different technologies, and the mix of virtual and physical experiences created a bridge from the real life environment to the virtual UAE Mars colony set in the near future of 2035, and announcing the Mars 2117 project.
Known existing present-day locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be altered to display future innovative approaches relevant to city development and will highlight revolutionary solutions for energy, infrastructure, urban planning, sustainability, and more. This future Dubai and Abu Dhabi are to be modeled taking into consideration existing infrastructure, planed near-future developments, and the real necessities of this fast-growing technological capital and its inhabitants in the years to come.
Combination of recognizable analog binocular vista viewers with cutting-edge hardware and VR technology-enabled to bring this vision to life and tell the amazing story of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi of the future.
The entire experience is brought to life via custom-developed consoles fitted with state-of-the-art VR hardware and custom-developed software and placed within the GS venue. High-definition stereoscopic 360 VR elements laid over a real-world view of selected outdoor locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi convey a sense of being at that location in the future version.
Production of the biggest Drone Racing event in the world, inspired by the intensifying popularity of drone technology, gaming, and augmented reality.
The World Drone Prix envisioned the future of racing by combining cutting edge technology, audience participation and the pure thrill of a race. The WDP held at the Dubai Skydive spanned over three days and gathered thousands of racers and fans of the next global sport.
The entire race was conceptualized around the code of the game, defining the rules, point system, team members number, gear and race objectives. The aerial track included obstacles, directional markers and dock drops, and was supplemented with AR, visible to the Pilots and the Audience through goggles and/or screens.
Large-scale spatial kinetic installation with choreographed motion flow and light effects, creating a replication of wings movement, combined with video projections, and produced for the annual Elle Style Awards ceremony in Zagreb, Croatia.
G12 collaborated in the production of the Hall Of Fame awards ceremony and party by Story Magazine in Lauba, Zagreb, Croatia. The stage area featured a dynamic large scale 360-degree display made of completely programmable motorized LED panel rings, as well as an interactive wall featuring live camera feed and VJ-ing performance. The auxiliary areas of event space contained video projections and interaction points, including holographic projections, multi-touch screens and spheric video mapped display.
In 2013, the brand Gorenje presented it’s innovative technologies at the IFA Berlin, with a striking new stand concept and an exhibition spanning two floors and 750 m2. G12 team produced the multimedia video projection content for the entire space, including a unique video mapped sphere in the central point.
Exhibition “Eye on Gandhi” opened September 21 2012 in Oslo, Norway, telling the story of why Mahatma Gandhi never got the Peace Prize, but nevertheless remained world’s most familiar symbol of peace and inspired millions with his philosophy of nonviolence.
G12 team contributed with two installations for the exhibition initiated and produced by Nobel Peace Center. The first installation showed the famous letters written by Gandhi to Adolf Hitler soughting him to stave off the WW2, being autonomously written on a typewriter. The second installation, inspired by Gandhi’s Salt March, invited the visitors to jointly participate in the interactive Peace March.
For the Telenor Innovation Center (Oslo, Norway) official opening in 2011, G12 team produced the stereoscopic 3D movie as well as the Globe interactive installation that integrated video mapping and motion tracking technologies.
Co-curating and creating art projects for the National pavilion of Republic of Serbia on the Prague Quadrennial 2011.
Displacements has been initiated as a collaborative platform to explore the principal aspects of contemporary art production and live performance in digital space.
The platform is an interactive and interdisciplinary physical interface for live holographic performance video streaming. The platform is constructed as a physical space reminiscent of a small performance stage; housing the technology required to broadcast live online communications within a digital, virtual space. Video, audio, performance streaming, web presence and holographic projection are the mediums used as materials from which the artwork emerges. The platform enables artists living in different distant locations to jointly create the live performance piece, which can be witnessed by a physically present audience.
The selected location, whose morphology the exhibit explores, offers an intriguing narrative for possible discussions on ideal performing arts space. It is construction site of the yet unfinished new building of the National Theater of Subotica, but also the resting place of historical predecessor. Interwoven, evocative remains of old theater and dynamic, concrete body of the future one, lay silently together. Enveloped in this almost symbiotic coexistence, rest together subtle voices of the past and energetic exalt of the forthcoming.
Formatted as stereoscopic 3d video stroll across location, the exhibit is dissection of two architectural structures, yet a single space. Both structures, aspiring at being perfect architecture for performing arts, each in its own right, one in the past and other in time yet to come, amalgamated into architectural meta-space.
Galerija 12+ designed and produced animations and mapped cylinder-shaped tower silos in Belgrade Harbor for a Mikser Design Expo in 2010 and 2011. Eights silos were mapped with a total of 1400m2 of projection, encompassing the entire building height which enabled visibility of projection even from miles away.
Marking one of the largest marketing projects, Adidas All In Show in Zagreb, Croatia, included spectacular projection adidas HERO video and video mapping of the Mestrovic Pavilion facade, ass well as the interactive football game, produced by G12 team.
Large scale kinetic installation developed and produced by Galerija 12 for the opening of the first Blue Tomato store in Vienna in 2010.
For the Coca Cola Momentum event, Galerija 12 has designed and produced World Cup Trophy holographic projection, large scale custom shaped outdoor projection, interactive football, video tunnel, and projection mapping for the stage.
12m long and 4m wide seamless projection video tunnel included CG scene of football stadium projected on tunnel walls, consisting of live footage and about 10 000 AI-driven football fans that interact with each other, cheer on goal signal.
Custom interactive football application Interactive Football enabled live players to be individually recognized via application, and their scores are updated in real-time. Depending on the size of the venue and projection, the number of players can vary from 2 to 20.
Galerija 12 designed multimedia content and produced the world's largest real-time interactive floor and projection mapping for 25th Universiade Games Opening Ceremony in Belgrade 2009. Up to 40 simultaneous dancers and participants at the same time interacting with 2K video projected on the floor via 8 HD high luminosity projectors. The show was performed in front of 20 000 visitors, and a few million have seen it in live TV transmission.
